on our Community
Glencoe Regional Health has been committed to providing high-quality, safe, and accessible healthcare to our community since 1941. While caring for our patients and GlenFields residents is always our top priority, we care for our community in many other ways.
This includes providing support to Glencoe Regional Health Foundation, a supporting organization of GRH that provides opportunities for community-based healthcare support through scholarships, investments, partnerships, and aligning passions. The Foundation is our partner in philanthropy.
Giving Back
Generosity is part of our DNA. When the hospital was formed, gifts from community members helped transform the vision for healthcare into reality. We honor this history and invite organizations located within our service area to learn more about our giving priorities and how to apply for financial support and read our Annual Reports to the Community.
Investing in Future Healthcare Leaders
Our providers at Glencoe Regional Health actively participate in training and mentoring medical students and helping them discover a passion for rural healthcare that may exist. We also host students for job shadow opportunities and internships.

Celebrating Community
We love our community, and we recognize that events can bring people together. We host two popular events each year along Prairie Trail on our Glencoe campus. The Glencoe Days Fun Run and Walk celebrates community and movement in June, and our Scarecrow Stroll welcomes the fall season with scarecrows made locally, as well as a casual stroll and games.
Expanding Access to Care
We continue to expand our services to ensure healthcare is local, convenient, and accessible to our community. We also provide interpreter services to ensure all patients receive the care they deserve.
