Medical Focus

As a board-certified Internal Medicine provider, I see patients 18 years of age and older for a variety of medical concerns and routine preventive care. When it was time to choose a focus for my practice, I knew that I was most inspired by general Internal Medicine. The intricate workings of the systems of the body, and how they depend upon one another in health and in illness, are challenging and fascinating. I’m very happy to be in the supportive Glencoe Regional Health environment, where my colleagues are also teammates.

My Passion

I’m proud to be a healthcare mentor – someone who tells the truth to patients in order to help them live well. Whether it’s preventive care or helping patients manage a chronic illness, I want to help my patients change their lives for the better. I’m also privileged to care for the elderly, and for those who are facing the end of life.

After Hours

My wife, Kari, and I live in Chaska. We have three children that fill our house with laughter and keep us on our toes. I grew up in Rochester, where my parents still live. In my free time, I’m a grill guy, a humble golfer, and I like cross-country skiing. My favorite season runs from April to October – go, Twins!
