Therapy services at GlenFields Living with Care
Residents at our skilled nursing facility, GlenFields Living with Care, can benefit from our on-site physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy services to improve their quality of life and gain confidence.
Protocols
Patients who undergo orthopedic surgery at Glencoe Regional Health are prescribed a course of physical and/or occupational therapy to support their recovery. They can receive therapy at Glencoe Regional Health or choose another facility for convenience. To assist therapists at other facilities, we publish the rehabilitation protocols for all orthopedic procedures performed at Glencoe Regional Health.
Insurance coverage
Most health insurers provide coverage for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and cardiac rehabilitation. Please contact your insurance company for details on how these services are covered under your benefit plan.
