On-Site Medical Care

GlenFields’ medical director, Bryan Petersen, MD, works with Michele Schuberg, CNP, to monitor the health of GlenFields residents and oversee their care as needs arise. Michelle rounds on GlenFields residents each weekday and is available whenever the charge nurse reports an immediate health concern such as acute pain or a sudden change in vital signs.

GlenFields residents also enjoy convenient access to a wide range of medical services on our Glencoe campus, including the emergency room, acute care unit, transitional care unit, medical imaging and medical laboratory in the hospital, as well as the primary care and specialist physicians at the Glencoe Clinic. We provide wheelchair transportation for residents with appointments in the clinic or hospital.

Residents who need physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language therapy services can receive them Monday through Saturday in our dedicated rehabilitation gym.
