Medical Focus

As a board-certified physician associate in Family Medicine, I enjoy the variety of providing prenatal and family care. I especially enjoy cardiovascular disease prevention and I work hard to help my patients control their diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol and weight. Because how we live is at the core of good health, I encourage my patients to live healthy lifestyles. I have an interest in skin cancer screening and treating diseases of the skin. I serve on the pediatrics committee and the diabetes advisory board at Glencoe Regional Health.

My Passion

My passion is for my patients and for their well-being, both physical and emotional. I work to help people live well with chronic disease and encourage them to take an active role in managing their health. Caring for women during pregnancy and delivery of their babies is very satisfying and enjoyable for me. One of the greatest gifts of family practice is caring for the entire family, so it’s a privilege to work with families in the community over time – in this smaller and more personal setting, I enjoy seeing my patients through their challenges from start to finish.

After Hours

I enjoy spending time with my husband and adult children. Cooking, hosting meals during the holidays, walking, and reading are my other after-hours pursuits.
