As a board-certified occupational therapist, I help people learn or relearn skills for living independently, following a medical problem. Illness, injury, disability, or challenging life events can affect people’s ability to do the day-to-day things that are important for them. I provide Occupational Therapy for everyday activities related to home, work, socializing, and more. My focus is treating elbow, wrist, and hand conditions, and aid in surgical recovery. I also perform cognitive assessment and treatment for those who have had a concussion, stroke, or traumatic brain injury (TBI).
I love working with a variety of patients and value the role I play in optimizing their ability to return to their home, work, and recreational activities. I have been able to see my patients experience the benefits of taking an active role in their recovery, especially in their awareness of how their lifestyles and habits affect their overall health.
My husband and I live just outside of Glencoe with our three children. We enjoy spending time together as a family and attending many sporting and school events. In my free time I enjoy running, cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time outdoors.
