Medical Focus
As the Transitional Care Program Coordinator, I work with our Care Team to facilitate a seamless transfer of care for patients to our Hospital. Our team works closely together to ensure a positive experience for our patients, and a smooth transition back to their previous living situation, whenever possible.
My first career path was teaching! Prior to becoming a nurse, I taught Life Sciences at Atwater Cosmos Grove City School and at Hutchinson High School. I taught Advanced Placement (AP) Biology and Anatomy/Physiology students, and was passionate about helping them explore healthcare careers. It was through that experience, and with encouragement from my students, that I took the leap and went back to school for nursing. It was one of the best life decisions I ever made! Bringing my background in teaching to bedside nursing has made a positive impact on my work in patient care.

My Passion
I love being a part of our patients’ journeys by supporting them on their best day and worst day, and everything in between. I’m passionate about being a strong patient advocate.
After Hours
My husband and I live in Litchfield, and we have three children. Our life has been consumed with hockey, baseball, softball, and volleyball! When not chasing our kids to sporting events and activities, we love attending concerts, being outside (preferably on a lake), or just spending time with family and friends. Our dog, Rig, is a chocolate lab, and is the boss of our family!
