Medical Focus

I’m a board-certified physician associate specializing in Orthopedics, so I treat injuries and conditions that affect the bones, muscles, and joints. On a typical day in the Clinic, I conduct physical examinations, evaluate joint pain, order lab tests and imaging studies, prescribe medications, give injections, fit splints, and explain surgical treatment options. I also assist our Orthopedic surgeon in the operating room and provide post-surgery follow-up care.

My Passion

I enjoy working every day to restore patients’ function and improve their quality of life. Our goal in Orthopedics is to get patients back to the activities they enjoyed before their injury or joint pain interfered. It’s very fulfilling to see people get better. I also enjoy advising patients – especially young athletes – about how to prevent injuries.

After Hours

Outside of work, I enjoy creating scrapbooks, lifting weights, and most of all – spending time with my family. I have two sons who keep me on my toes. My position in Glencoe enables me to do a job I love while keeping a balance with my family life.
