I am a physician and see patients of all ages in our Emergency Department, no matter the health issue that’s brought them in. I’m also fluent in Spanish, and use my language skills to care for Spanish-speaking patients.

My Passion
I had a great biology teacher in high school who piqued my interest in life sciences. I decided to practice medicine, because I like to problem solve, and I love working with people. I’m happy when I get to help my patients, provide reassurance, or move toward a solution to a problem.
After Hours
I live in Minneapolis with my fiancée and our dogs – 6-year-old golden retriever, Layla, and a rescue greyhound mix, Herbie. I enjoy biking, and am hoping to try bikepacking, which is camping with all of your supplies packed on a bike. I also play piano and violin, and enjoy writing. I’ve published a few journalistic and education articles, and aim to get more involved in medical journalism.
