I love older people. They have wonderful histories and tell great stories that brighten my day. By listening, I let them know they are valued and respected. Overall, the best part of my job is providing greater accessibility to care. By being present every day to deliver routine care, I serve as an extension of the provider. I love being able to meet people’s needs when they arise.

My husband, Mike, and I have two children, Kaleb and Karissa. We also have three dogs who love to get underfoot and bring us joy every day with their antics! I love to crochet, knit, sew, and embroider and quilt baby blankets.

I was an assistant Girl Scout troop leader for six years and have also volunteered with a children’s ministry on an on-call basis.
