Medical Focus

As a board-certified adult-geriatric nurse practitioner certified in hospice and palliative care, I provide care to residents in GlenFields Living with Care, and to patients who are recovering from a serious injury, illness, or surgery in our Hospital Transitional Care Unit. I also see patients in the Clinic for nail care.

My Passion

I love older people. They have wonderful histories and tell great stories that brighten my day. By listening, I let them know they are valued and respected. Overall, the best part of my job is providing greater accessibility to care. By being present every day to deliver routine care, I serve as an extension of the provider. I love being able to meet people’s needs when they arise.

After Hours

I love to crochet, knit, sew, and embroider and quilt baby blankets. I was an assistant Girl Scout troop leader for six years and have also volunteered with a children’s ministry on an on-call basis.
