Medical Focus

As a board-certified Family Medicine provider, I see patients of all ages for a wide range of medical concerns and routine preventive care. I especially enjoy caring for women and children, doing dermatologic procedures and joint injections, and helping my patients make lifestyle changes to prevent health problems. As a member of the pregnancy care team, I provide prenatal care and breastfeeding support, however, I do not deliver babies.

I also work as a hospitalist. In this role, I oversee care for patients admitted to the Hospital’s Acute Care or Transitional Care units to recover from illness, injury, or surgery. I monitor their status, order tests and medications as needed, and keep their primary care providers informed.

My Passion

My favorite aspect of Family Medicine is caring for whole families, especially when there are multiple generations. I want all of my patients to feel comfortable talking with me about whatever concerns them. I especially love talking with them about lifestyle changes they can make before things go wrong, so they can stay healthy from the start.

After Hours

I grew up right here in Glencoe. Today I live in Hutchinson with my husband, Richard, our five daughters, Annie, Ellie, Maggie, Clara, and Vivian, and our goldendoodle, Charlie. I love spending quality time with my family. I also enjoy a wide array of creative endeavors, from making music to sewing, woodworking, cooking, and more. I also love outdoor activities, especially fishing.
