Effective 12-23-25
Due to an increased number of respiratory cases in our community, along with rising hospitalization rates, the following masking recommendations and visitor restrictions are in effect.
Patient, Resident, & Visitor Masking:
Wearing a mask is optional for patients, residents, and visitors, however, strongly recommended and offered at all entrances.
Visitor Restrictions:
- Hospital Inpatients: Two adult visitors at a time are allowed.
- Birth Center Patients: Two adult visitors (this includes a spouse) at a time are permitted, in addition to the infant’s siblings.
- Emergency Department / Urgent Care Patients: Two adult visitors at a time are allowed.
- Surgical Patients: Two adult visitors at a time are allowed.
- Outpatient Services: Two adult visitors at a time are allowed. Minor visitors will not be limited.
- When visiting a patient with a respiratory illness, staff will provide instructions on proper hand hygiene, limiting surfaces touched, and using personal protective equipment (PPE). Visitors should go directly to and from the patient’s room and avoid other areas of the facility. Time spent in common areas should be kept to a minimum.
- These restrictions do not apply to GlenFields Living with Care.
