As a cardiac rehabilitation nurse, I provide care to patients who have various heart conditions or have had a recent heart surgery. I provide my patients with education and a monitored exercise program to help them live a heart-healthy lifestyle and safely return to their regular physical activities. I work with patients to meet their personal goals and specific needs.
My grandfather struggled with health conditions most of his life, and observing the care provided to him inspired me to become a nurse. I have a family history of cardiovascular disease and am passionate about helping others with these conditions.
I enjoy getting to know patients and helping them get back to the activities they love. It’s rewarding to see their health improve throughout their visits.
After Hours
I was born and raised outside of Glencoe on a dairy farm. I currently reside in Glencoe with my husband and two children. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy running, traveling, gardening, fishing, and spending time at my family’s cabin in my free time.
