Medical Focus
I’m a licensed medical social worker in Acute Care and Transitional Care. I collaborate with patients and their families on discharge plans, so they have the necessary resources and support they need after leaving the hospital.
Throughout my social work career, I have gained a wide variety of skills and experience – from community-based social work at Catholic Charities, to medical social work at the United Pain Center, to the MN Board of Public Defense. These experiences have broadened my knowledge in generalist social work.
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor of Education, Social Work: University of Wisconsin, River Falls, WI
My Passion
I find myself humbled and honored to walk alongside patients as they navigate a chapter in their life that is often their most vulnerable and difficult. I’m dedicated to cultivating brave spaces for our patients so they can use the tools and resources they need to be successful. I deeply value the role I play at Glencoe Regional Health – in our community and in the lives of our patients.
After Hours
I grew up in Stillwater, MN. Today, I live in Carver, MN, with my husband and two children, Ayden and Everly, and our dog, Turbo. I love spending time with my family. Some of our more recent family activities include bike rides and walks, where we often end up at a park. In my free time, I love loudly cheering for my kids throughout their various sports endeavors, doing hand-embroidery projects, gardening or yard work projects, and watching MN sports and Uruguay’s Soccer games.
