Medical Focus

As a board-certified pediatric occupational therapist, I help children develop the fine motor skills needed for personal care and success in home and school settings. I also have special interests in behavior management and treating children with sensory processing or sensory integration problems. These conditions cause children to be overwhelmed by or have difficulty using the information that comes in from their senses, which include balance, body position, sight, touch, hearing, smell, and taste. I also have specialized training in SOS (sequential oral sensory) feeding therapy.

My Passion

It’s a wonderful gift to be able to work with children. As their functional skills improve through Occupational Therapy, they become more self-confident and independent. They transform before your very eyes! It’s an exciting process for parents, too.

After Hours

I live with my family in Hutchinson. We enjoy spending time with our extended family members who live in area, including cheering on our nieces and nephews at their sporting events. In the summer, you can find us hanging out at the lake.
