Who Can Receive Care

You do not need to be receiving your specialty care at Glencoe Regional Health in order to receive infusion services here. Because treatment can go on for many months, most providers will encourage their patients to get chemotherapy or other infusion services as close to home as possible in order to reduce time spent away from work and family. We welcome all area residents to receive infusion services on our Glencoe campus, even if their care is directed by providers at Mayo Clinic, the University of Minnesota or other health care provider.

Location

Infusion Services patients should check in at the reception desk just inside the hospital entrance, seven days a week.

Patients with weekday appointments will receive their treatments in the Infusion Services department on the third floor of the hospital.

Patients who require infusion services on weekends will receive their treatments in the Outpatient Services area on the second floor of the hospital because the third floor is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Patients who are currently admitted to our hospital transitional care unit or skilled nursing facility will also receive their treatments in the locations noted above.
