Hospital
As a speech-language pathologist, I see patients of all ages for a range of disorders related to communication, cognition, and swallowing in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have a special interest in early language development among pediatrics, as well as dysphagia (swallowing disorders). I strive to provide treatment that is fun, engaging, and functional for patients of all abilities.
Since I was young, I knew I wanted to help others. From receiving speech therapy as an elementary student, to hearing my grandpa speak again following a stroke, I have personally experienced how speech-language pathology can positively impact people’s lives.
The best part of my job is building relationships with my patients and their caregivers as we work together toward the patient’s goals. Seeing patients’ growth and development of new skills to gain confidence and independence in daily life is an exciting journey!
I am originally from Silver Lake and am thrilled to be back in the area serving this wonderful community. In my free time, I can be found spending much of my time with family and friends, as well as actively serving in my church. I enjoy spending time outdoors camping and being on the lake. Other pastimes of mine include reading, cooking, and traveling.
